I had the opportunity to attend three Sierra STEM trips: two retreats with high school Seniors and a one-week experience in Mammoth Lakes with 8th-graders. The first words that come to mind to describe Sierra STEM are professionalism, attention to detail and safety, and, most of all, a fantastic connection with the students and chaperones. Each trip was crafted with the students’ experience in mind… Sierra STEM carefully selected all the places we visited, the multiple guides and speakers were all experts in their respective domains, and our students were engaged throughout the entire week… As chaperones, we had numerous ways to connect with Neal before, during, and after each trip… Neal is extremely positive, and discussing and sharing ideas with him has always been a pleasure.

I've been on two all-class retreats with Sierra STEM, and both times, Sierra STEM created a fantastic experience for our students that was custom-fit to our needs. The activities Dr. Fox led created the perfect atmosphere for our students to bond, grow, and learn together through a series of friendly yet very involved competitions … Students returned from the trips with increased cohesion and class unity and, of course, having fun… The seniors continued talking about it long after the retreat ended, and it wouldn't have happened without Dr. Fox's dedication and direction.
