About Sierra STEM Summer Camps
Sierra STEM offers a suite of science-focused day camps for kids during July and August, set in June Lake and Lee Vining, CA.
The goal of our camps has always been to provide science enrichment programs and daytime childcare for our local families during the summer. Since their inception, we have expanded enrollment to allow space for visiting kids as well.
The specific camps we offer change each year, but perennial favorites include Brain Camp, focusing on the nervous system of humans and other animals; STEAM Camp, which teaches environmental issues through the lens of hands-on art projects; and Explorations of Wilderness, our popular introduction to backpacking. Camps usually run Monday through Friday. Check out flyers from years past for a flavor of our programs: 2025 2024 2023
These programs are made possible thanks to generous financial support from many local partners.
